Pet Photography Sessions
Every Monday – Thursday
Bring your furry family members in for our Pet Photography Sessions. All domestic pets are welcome, so whether you want to get some solo shots or a full family photo, our professional photographers are here to help!
What to Know:
- Pet sessions must be scheduled by phone. Please call your local studio for availability.
- Pet sessions are only scheduled Mondays-Thursdays.
- You are welcome to bring any blankets or props from home for your pet session. *No Picture People blankets or cloth props will be available for pet sessions.
- Please have your pet go to the bathroom before the session. Any accidents will need to be attended to by the owner.
- Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier at all times outside the camera room.
- Pets must leave the studio immediately after the session. No pets are allowed to linger in the lobby or mall.
- Please park at the Mall entrance closest to the studio.
- If necessary, pet sessions may be ended at anytime by the photographer.
- A Pet Session Waiver & Pet Guideline Acknowledgement Form must be completed and signed prior to the start of the session.
- A $20 session deposit is required upon booking. This fee will be refunded after your session or applied as a credit towards purchases made that day.
Pet Session FAQ
Can I schedule a Pet Session online?
All pet sessions must be scheduled over the phone or in person at the studio. For the safety and comfort of all involved, we want to ensure no other pets will in the studio and no other sessions are scheduled.
When are Pet Sessions available?
Pet Sessions are only available Mondays-Thursdays.
Can I bring my pet to a previously scheduled session?
If you already have a session scheduled during this event, please call the studio to see if your pet can be accommodated during the appointment. For the safety and comfort of all involved, we want to ensure no other pets will be in the studio and no other sessions are scheduled.
How should I plan for my Pet Session?
- Think about specific poses or backdrops you’d like to see, especially if additional people will be in the session. Feel free to bring in inspiration images.
- Think about how you’ll use the images. Will they be printed or framed? Are they a gift?
- Bring any blankets or props you’d like to see in the photos.
- Bring a leash or carrier for your pet.
- Don’t forget to bring some of your pet’s favorite treats or toys to help keep their attention!
- If your are able to bring in someone as an extra set of hands, that is always encouraged (but not required). It’s great to have one person within arm’s reach of the pet and another with treats and toys to help bring the attention towards the camera.
What should I expect for my Pet Session?
- The session will be approximately 20 minutes long.
- You will stay by your pet, within arms reach at all times.
- We may ask you to give commands, like sit and stay, or toss them a treat.
- We will capture several different poses so you have a variety of images to view.
Can I bring more than one pet to my session?
Yes! At the time of booking, please make sure the photographer is aware of the number and type of pets that will be included in your session. If there are any concerns, they will be addressed at that time.
Can humans be included in the session too?
Yes! We love to see additional family included in the session. At the time of booking, please make sure the photographer is aware of the number of pets and people you’d like to include in your session.
Does my dog need to stay on a leash?
All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier while outside of the camera room. Inside the camera room, your pet may be off their leash or outside of their carrier. If you have any concerns about your pet running off, you are welcome to keep them on a leash throughout the session. You and your pet’s safety and comfort are top priority.
What if I am running late for my session?
If you arrive more than 5 minutes after your scheduled session time, we will need to reschedule your session for another day/time.
